The Uni-Span staircase system incorporates Uni-Stage standard products. The stair stringers are manufactured to specification dependent on the height and pitch required. Standard hook on scaffold boards are used to construct platforms at 2m or 2.5m lifts and are supported by Uni-Stage standards and ledgers.

The system’s safety features include:

• Guard rails and hand rails
• Non-slip non-tilt hook on boards
• Toe boards can be attached when required
• Extra wide stair treads to allow for passing of personnel
• The robust Uni-Stage scaffold allows for additional loading on the heavy duty staircase and platforms.

The access ladders are constructed of solid steel flat bars with round bar rungs. They are joined together and clamped to the Uni-Stage scaffold to reach the required height.
